Philosophy and Culture
• We take ownership of each opportunity to serve the client.
• We do more than the client expects.
• We provide a quality of service that is consistently superior when compared to our competition and to any organization where InterMed's clients do business.
• We communicate with the staff and patients in a courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times.
• We believe we must earn our clients' business every day in every way.
The “Sundown for Service” rule is well known by our team at InterMed and was even made into a poster in our break room. It is our policy to address every customer concern by sundown of the same day.
Because InterMed Biomedical has expanded with 100% organic growth since our start, we have never had to dilute our culture of hard work, unparalleled customer service and philanthropy with absorbed companies’ cultures. Everyone who works for InterMed supports and enhances the InterMed culture and practices our philosophies every day.
Story
InterMed Biomedical Services, Inc. was founded in 1995 in response to a need in the industry for a customer-focused, third-party biomedical sales and service provider that could provide both expert service and discounted prices to its customers. InterMed Biomedical’s administration has been with the company since it’s inception and the company values of hard work, unparalleled customer service and philanthropy have stayed the same as well.
InterMed Biomedical has been steadily and organically growing since 1995 and this year was awarded a spot on Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing companies list as well as the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce’s Overall Small Business of the Year award.

Philanthropy
InterMed Biomedical began operating because the founders knew they could provide better service at a lower cost and that this would lead to patients getting what they deserve- the best working equipment. Now in our 16th year of business, we have a new driving force that has given us inspiration to expand our idea of WHY we do business. Tyler’s Hope for a Dystonia Cure, InterMed’s official charity, inspires us to do more philanthropic work as we grow.
We’ve learned that in addition to the best product and service, customers also deserve to buy from a company that considers giving back a privilege and responsibility that is fundamental to why they operate.
